Itineraries for young pilgrims

For a prayerful, spiritual and cultural experience in the area of the Shrine of Fatima, there are itineraries available that lead the young pilgrim to learn about the apparitions of Fatima, the spirituality of the seers and the architectural and artistic heritage of the Shrine. These itineraries — which are valid individually, but can also be followed as complementary parts of a complete itinerary — will be available:

  • in 7 languages: Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian, French, German and Polish
  • in printed form, from dispensers at the entrances of the Shrine
  • in digital form, accessible through the official website of the Shrine of Fatima, www.fatima.pt, and through the QR code

Where to stay: Youth Village

For groups of young pilgrims who wish to stay, the Shrine will provide a Youth Village to welcome the groups. In this space, which will allow overnight accommodation free of charge, there will be:

  • A camping area, for young people who bring tents
  • A sleeping quarters area, for young people who only bring sleeping bags
  • A meal area, for buying and eating snacks
  • A shower and toilet area
  • Cost: free of charge
  • Admission: on a first come, first served basis

A área de refeição estará disponível também para jovens que não se encontrem alojados na Aldeia Jovem. Os jovens poderão comprar e comer a refeição ligeira nesta área, mediante a capacidade do espaço, ou comprar para levar.

Do I need to register in advance?

Each group is able to make known their intention to go on a pilgrimage to the Shrine using this form. This is not a registration, which is not necessary, but a survey to help us better predict needs and possibilities.
