World premiere of a work commissioned by the Shrine of Fatima to the compositor João Pedro Oliveira in the context of the celebration of the Centennial of the Apparitions.

In the inaugural concert of the new tubes organ of the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Fatima and of the Cycle of Organ, which integrates the celebrations of the Centennial of the Apparitions of Fatima, we will attend all the sound capacities of the new instrument by Olivier Latry, titular organist of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, through a program of different styles that covers nearly 300 years of music. We can emphasize the world premiere Hû yeshûphekâ rô’sh, of João Pedro Oliveira – work based on the first prophecy about Mary, in the book of the Genesis (Gen 3,15: « he shall bruise your head»), and commissioned by the Shrine of Fatima for the occasion –, as well as the final improvisation about Ave de Fátima.
