Creative musical workshops
Within the celebrations of the Centennial of the Apparitions, the Shrine of Fatima promotes the Creative musical workshops, an initiative that uses the arts of music, theatre and dance, with particular emphasis on music, as illustrative mediators of the experience of the message of Fatima.
The workshops are developed in the school vacation time in two different age groups:
- In the course of one day for children from 3 to 5 years old accompanied by their families;
- In the course of 4 consecutive days for children and adolescents from 8 to 14 years old.
The initiative takes place in Fatima on the months of April and June, and has as its residence the Pastoral Centre of Paul VI, and the most beautiful places and landscapes of Fatima.
Instruments sounds are heard, pipe organ tubes soaring, canvas and paper sheets are painted, a visit to Valinhos is made and the story of the little shepherds is told, there are praying moments, friends groups, dreams are lived. At the moment, this program is only available in Portuguese language.
