The Triumph of Love in History’s dramas

Demand for the Course on the Message of Fatima was greater than expected
Further enrolments aren’t possible

After being announced on May 12, the Course on the Message of Fatima had an enrolment greater than expected; therefore, further enrolments aren’t possible.

The initiative, scheduled for June 7 thru 9, to be held at the Shrine of Fatima, in the Retreat House of Our Lady of Sorrows, is one of the preparatory activities proposed fort he celebration of the Centennial of the Apparitions in 2017.

The enrolment was initially limited to the first 35 people who signed up. However, due to the great demand for the Course, the Shrine of Fatima decided to expand the class to a maximum of 72 students. For logistical and pedagogical reasons, we can’t go beyond that number.

Given the interest shown for the Course, the Shrine of Fatima is thinking about repeating it, eventually next October, at a date yet to be fixed.

ARCHIVE:

Many people that are interested in Fatima have not yet had the opportunity to know, in a global and articulate way, the message that God, through Our Lady, brought to Cova da Iria for the benefit of today’s mankind. It is a very vast message, with many religious elements which constitute an announcement of hope for the men and women of today.
During the celebrative cycle, preparatory of the Centennial of the Apparitions, the Shrine of Fatima includes in its goals the task of “studying in depth the different themes included in the Message of Fatima and its implications for Christian living” and, to be more precise, “to place it, theologically, within the wider context of the Christian message”.
To that end, the Shrine offers a Course on the Message of Fatima, which aims to bring to light the fundamental elements of the apparitions of Cova da Iria, to systematize the themes found in it and to frame, theologically, the different aspects of these apparitions.
The Message of Fatima will be thoroughly studied and some of its implications for Christian living will be brought to consideration.
This course is addressed to devotees and pilgrims of Fatima, to agents of pastoral ministry, to workers of the Shrine, to Marian movements and to all Christians interested in better knowing the spirituality of Fatima.
