The second edition of the official rosary of the Shrine of Fatima is now available. This exclusive piece has been available in physical shops and online since May.

With a production of around two thousand units, the second edition is marked by a strong connection to the statue of the Chapel of the Apparitions.

The blue beads - corresponding to the Hail Marys - are a reminder of how the Mother of God walks, step by step, as a pilgrim in every event of Her son’s life.

The golden spheres - corresponding to the Our Fathers - guide the prayer taught by Jesus which unites Christians to God, enabling them to say “Our Father...”

The bead of the Hail Mary is marked with the monogram of the Shrine of Fatima and the precious crown of the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. The cross that tops off the set is inspired by the cross on the crown of Our Lady of Fatima.

“Based on the works of art that make up the heritage of the Shrine of Fatima, the rosary takes on the identity of the place where countless generations of pilgrims pray every day for the conversion of hearts, for peace in the world and for the Church of Christ,” says the booklet that accompanies the pack.

The official rosary was designed by Leitão & Irmão, Antigos Joalheiros da Coroa.
