Installed and initiated in the Sanctuary of Fatima, in late November 2013, and open to the public until October 31, 2014, the exhibition Secret and Revelation, which displays for the first time the manuscript of the Third Part of the Secret of Fatima, got a new expression since the 13th July, and it is now possible to visit it online. The virtual access is through the link https://segredoerevelacao.fatima.pt/index.php?lang=en
“Taking as motto the apparition of July 1917, the Sanctuary of Fatima shows through historical documentation and artistic legacy one of the most important themes of Fatima: the Secret, that starting at the Cova da Iria leads to the contemplation of an entire contemporary world”, explains Marco Daniel Duarte, Director of the SESDI [Service of Studies and Diffusion] of Fatima Shrine and curator of the exhibit. It must be remembered that Secret and Revelation enhances the three parts of the so-called Secret of Fatima; this exhibition presents and brings before the public, for the first time, the Manuscript of the Third Part of the Secret, written by the seer Lucia, and now belonging to the archives of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith. It’s now exposed at Fatima with the express permission of Pope Francis. Secret and Revelation will be open to the public until late October, with free entries between 09:00 and 19:00, [all days of the week], on the lower level of the Basilica of the Holy Trinity. The number of visitors up to July 13 amounts to 107,057. |
