“To adore God in spirit and truth – Adoration as acceptance and commitment” is the title of the theological-pastoral symposium scheduled for June 24 thru 26, at the Shrine of Fatima. The sessions will be held in the Chapel of the Death of Jesus, at the Complex of Most Holy Trinity Church. In the invitation sent out, the Rector of the Shrine of Fatima and the President of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium present the thematic plan of this initiative, which was thought out in the context of the celebration of the Apparitions of the Angel at Fatima and intends to be “one more contribution to study the central aspects of the Message of Fatima and of Christian living”. They go on to state: “The thematic plan includes several aspects: God’s question in today’s culture, a study of the believing attitude, adoration as an expression of one’s faith and the figure of Mary as model of all those who believe… From the program one perceives the variety of aired topics. Planned are theological and pastoral reflections, testimonies and presentations of cultural expressions of the theme”. For more information, contact: [email protected] |
