The Shrine of Fatima addresses to grandparents and grandkids an invitation to celebrate, on July 26, the day when the Liturgy of the Church remembers St. Joachim and St. Anne, parents of Our Lady and grandparents of Jesus.
Mass will be celebrated at 11h00, in Most Holy Trinity Church, and grandparents will be making their consecration.
Throughout the day, admission to Aljustrel’s House-Museum will be free to all grandparents and grandkids accompanied by their grandparents.
The House Museum of Aljustrel is owned by the Shrine of Fatima and its purpose is to portray the daily family and work life of families at the time of the Apparitions. It is located in Aljustrel, next to the home where seer Lucia was born and about 200 meters from the home of Little Shepherds Blesseds Francisco and Jacinta. In 2011, the House-Museum was visited by 18,822 people.
Hours of the House-Museum, from May 1 to October 31: 09h00-13h00 and 14h30-18h30. It is closed on Mondays. |
