Several groups of youths of different nationalities planning to go to Madrid, Spain, to attend World Youth Days (August 16 thru 21) are also considering to pass through Fatima, some on the way to, some on the way from.
As of the beginning of July, several groups had already contacted the Shrine of Fatima: “Up to now, 64 groups of young people going to Madrid already announced their intentions: 45 on the way there, 19 on the way home”, according to Natalina Ferreira, Head of the Department of Pilgrim Services (SEPE) of the Shrine of Fatima.
