Every Sunday, up to the last weekend in October, in the Prayer Area of the Shrine of Fatima, a Pipe Organ Concert is held, performed by Mr. Nicolas Roger, Chief Organist of the Shrine.
Each concert of the Pipe Organ of the Prayer Area of the Shrine, which was inaugurated in May 2001 (in the Choir Hall situated in the North Colonnade), has a duration of 30 minutes, from 16h45 to 17h15.
After that, the Procession of the Blessed Sacrament is held; it starts at 17h30.
These season concerts are being held since June 2001. Each season starts on the first Sunday after Easter Sunday and it goes on until the last Sunday in October.
Mr. Nicolas Roger, of French ancestry, works for the Shrine of Fatima since February 1998, where he is the Chief Organist and the teacher in charge of the School of Pipe Organ of the Shrine of Fatima, in existence since October 1998.
