| The diocesan community of Leiria-Fatima peregrinates, for the 80th time, to the Shrine of Fatima on April 10. The diocesan bishop, Most Rev. António dos Santos Marto, will preside. In his message for this year’s Lent, Bishop António reminds us that this pilgrimage is being held during the time of Lent and that, therefore, should be a “special time for common prayer”. He also divulges the theme of the pilgrimage: “With Mary and the Little Shepherds, we learn to serve in humility and charity”. He also appeals to all faithful, priests and religious, to participate in it. Within the same context of this pilgrimage, the youth of the Diocese are invited to participate in the “Pilgrimage of the Youth of the Diocese”, which has a program specifically designed for the youth, beginning on the afternoon of April 9 and continuing with participation in the official program of the 80th Diocesan Pilgrimage. |
